Valid Reasons To Not Get Vaccinated

Whether you're in support of the COVID vaccine, against it,  or on the fence please use this particular thread to cite credible, evidence-based sources to share with everyone so we can engage in a discussion that revolves around LEARNING.  

I'll start:

The primary concerns I've shared with others have to do with how effective the vaccine is for those who have already been infected.  I've reviewed studies and reports in that regard.  There are medical professionals I've listened to that, in my personal opinion,  don't offer a definitive answer.

That's tracking baby.  It's not necessarily referring to trying to escape the government coming to find anybody

Didn’t I see you in another one of these Covid threads lamenting the lack of camaraderie and friendly, professional discussions between nurses? How do you think you’re doing according to your desired standard? Look at the tone in my questions and look at your LOL reply.

Many posters have argued vehemently that a previously infected person who talked to their doctor could not have any conceivable valid reason to defer vaccination.  

This is one of several studies I've shared showing how low (so far) reinfection is and therefore, should make it at least understandable if a PCR+ patient wanted to defer.  We still aren't hearing about the reinfected being admitted and dying.

There's no way the segment of America who are antivaxxers and anti maskers would understand the biology re spike proteins and acquired immunity!

You think for a second that any body capable of a critical thought could be fooled by morons like MTG or Gaetz or lying Ted Cruz etc etc. These idiots are dying in Mississippi, Florida, Texas, S Dakota and everywhere current republican leaders reside. Maybe there is a God, because somebody sent a shitload of messages, like in that sand, beach, God thingy and obviously they don't read God!

2.  Exactly, you never had any of those diseases.  The vaccine did its job protecting you from getting them.  If that's your argument for people who never had COVID I hear you. As for those that did, that's different.

Do you know what cocaine or heroin is, or how it works? When something comes with a warning, you don't go there or try it! 

Next time you see a, 'Danger, Bridge Out ' sign, I suggest that you ignore it and accelerate fully and break through those barriers that are erected because you know the govt people are always lying and trying to suppress you and don't forget, it always works in the movies!! ????

But it also allows you to see more than Google or Bing let's you see. That's what I understand anyway. The browser itself is not nefarious. 

Tell you what, I like a couple of pints after a hard day's work, but I bypass anywhere that has bikers or thug like looking people in it!

What I would say to a person who got vaccinated and has a subsequent vaccine-injury or death? The same thing I say to people that have an adverse reaction to a drug; I'm sorry, there are always risks associated with medical decisions, and that we make recommendations based on a risk-benefit analysis. I have this conversation with patients on a daily basis; it is part of the job. I am empathetic to anyone that suffers. I also practice based on the best evidence I have and from the full extent of my education and experience and knowledge of my patient. I don't have personal guilt when there is a rare adverse effect because I know that the small chance of a rare event does not negate the benefit of the treatment; nor do I recommend a treatment when there is a small chance of success and a large chance of an adverse event. 

I sleep at night after a hard day because I know every day I make hard choices that save more lives then a rare event takes. I do not have the luxury of indecision or kicking the can further down the road, because that costs lives too.

Be careful with your house when the lights are off too. All kinds of ghosts and baddies live in there until the lights are on. ??? Don't believe everything you hear in the internet. The "dark web" isn't easy to navigate but most of it is just called "dark" cause it's not accessed by main stream browsers. Think of it as a part of the internet where the lights are off. Tor and .onion just kind of turn the lights on. You can get viruses and stuff from alot of main stream sites too remember.

You are a poster child for what is wrong in this debate. This isn't about the science or data for you and allot of people like you. What if you met a Biden supporter who refused the vaccine because Trump was instrumental in developing it? I've met a number of those people.
