UTMB Summer 2016

Hey guys! I couldn't find a thread for UTMB Summer 2016 so I decided to make one. I guess because it's a little early since they just open for applications. This is the first time I use NursingCAS so I'm not quite sure how it work yet. If anyone is familiar with NursingCAS, could you please share your experience? I sent in my transcript 3 days ago and right now I'm working on my personal statement. I saw some previous threads where people mentioned about MyStar and supplemental application/document? Is it something you will receive after you submit everything on NursingCAS?

I am ecstatic right now, and congratulations to you as well. Quick question once you paid the deposit was the check mark still there?

From previous forums they said once they paid their deposit, there was not a green check mark anymore. I have not paid my deposit yet but I will be sure to tell you if my check mark is still there.

Hey everyone! I am new to this site, but I have been watching and reading for a while!

So I got extrememly nervous today when I see that everyone is getting accepted already, as I'm sure some of the other applicants are. I have confirmed that they are still doing interviews and will not finish accepting students until all applicants are interviewed.

Liz at UTMB did say they are just starting to accept for summer 2016, and we will all be interviewed!

A HUGE CONGRATS to everyone that knows they made it I am so happy that all your hard work is paying off!

i dont care about the green check mark as long as i can pay the deposit, accept admission and get an acceptance letter i'm good! but yeah the green check mark doesnt appear anymore xD

Hello everyone, I applied to utmb prior to the deadline but still haven't received an interview. Is that normal for me to not hear from them after I submitted my supplemental packet and receiving a my start account? Sorry, just a bit anxious cause I haven't heard a word :/

Also guys, I do see a green light on my admission status. Does that mean anything in regards to admission status or acceptance? Congratulations to everyone who got accepted and got interviews. Wish I can get one too : (

Don't feel bad, I have not received anything either. I've been calling multiple times just to make sure there's still hope and they're is. The last time I spoke with them they said to hang in there since it's the holidays the second wave of interviews may take a while

I have also been accepted. I was looking at the required courses and I need to take the "Science Elective" course. What have you guys taken? I was thinking of taking Biol 1308 at HCC but I don't know if there are specific classes UTMB is accepting for that credit? Any help?

I just called and they said it just started and there is hope! I have not heard anything either, but I am hoping I do this week! The waiting game is difficult haha congrats to everyone who is accepted and good luck to the rest! :) do not be discouraged!
