Hey guys! I couldn't find a thread for UTMB Summer 2016 so I decided to make one. I guess because it's a little early since they just open for applications. This is the first time I use NursingCAS so I'm not quite sure how it work yet. If anyone is familiar with NursingCAS, could you please share your experience? I sent in my transcript 3 days ago and right now I'm working on my personal statement. I saw some previous threads where people mentioned about MyStar and supplemental application/document? Is it something you will receive after you submit everything on NursingCAS?
Any information will help! Thanks in advance :)
Are they interviewing every applicant? I saw someone said that but I didn't think that was true, but maybe so. Also, what happens if you cannot start in May, do they roll over your acceptance to the next semester?-Lauren :)
Hehe! That might've been me! Yes I am still waiting for an interview date also, but I did confirm when people here frist posted acceptance to the program, that everyone who MET THE REQUIREMENTS will be interviewed.
After reading other posts, it looks like you are waitlisted to the next term, then interviewed in the first wave. Essentially you are interviewed twice, however everyone
that posts here and was waitlisted, got accepted for Summer 2016.
Im so nervous not getting the opportunity to interview yet, but you have to think there are multiple things going on right now; Holidays, Finals, Graduations, etc.
Continue to stay positive and just think that it is a busy time of year!

very true! Thank you for the response! I'm not surprised I haven't heard anything. I submitted just a couple of days before the deadline, and I was told that they are still reviewing applicants. I'm just antsy! If I get accepted I won't be able to start in May anyways, so I'm just going to apply for the fall as well. Good luck everyone. :)
Greetings! I am new to allnurses and just started looking at this thread. I have a green dot on my MyStar and have yet to hear back yet for an interview. I applied two days before the deadline so I wasn't too worried but since I'm hearing people are getting accepted already I'm starting to get antsy lol I'm curious at what number you called. Hopefully I wasn't overlooked

Hey! The green circle is normal, and will change to a green check once you get accepted I believe. I applied pretty early and from my understanding they are just getting started and will probably have at least another wave of interviews. Do not fret! You will hear something soon I am thinking. I just heard back today. Good luck!
I got an email shortly after calling and I scheduled my interview for this Thursday at 11:30. Yikes!! I'm nervous and excited!! I was considering wearing a skirt suit. For those that interviewed and got accepted, what did you wear for the interview?
I wore a suit for my interview with a blouse underneath. A skirt suit is perfect for the interview as well. My interview was not intense at all. I felt very comfortable in my interview, so don't be nervous. I am sure you will do fine.
Congratulations to whose already accepted!!Does any one know how many applicants met the requirements for this application period? Also, has any first time applicants had an interview yet??
I do not know how many applicants met the requirements for this application period. I was a first time applicant and my interview was on 11/12 and I got my acceptance letter 12/3. I know they are still doing interviews for all of the other applicants. Usually there are 3-4 waves of interviews.
