Hello,
I've applied to UTMB starting in May of 2015.
I had not seen any posts regarding this so I though I would get it going.
All my stuff is with the school and my "mystar" is up and going.
97th Percentile TEAS
4.0 Science
3.10 B.B.A. of finance
Anyone have any idea of when we might hear something?
My green circle changed to a check mark today and it gives me an option to accept or decline admission so they are beginning to make decisions. :) i can't wait to meet everyone next summer! Let's start a FB group soon! I haven't received an email, I just checked my Mystar account.
congratulations!!!

Congrats! My friends just changed as well.
I had my interview yesterday. My interviewer is also on the board of admissions.
She said wave 1 of interviews ends 24th then they will do a second wave so there will be more to come.
Congratulations!!! I haven't heard anything yet, but I know there are quite a few people from the previous application period rolling to the summer. To those who attended the open house, would you be willing to share some information with the rest of us, I'm sure we would all appreciate it :)

Congratulations to @lexief32!!
So I took notes for the open house on the things that would be relevant to us based on where we stand.
I will post them as soon as I get home. Hopefully it can shed some light on things that we may not have known. :)
Open house info:
There were about four speakers. The first went over very basic things that we already know since we are now waiting to hear back.
Once accepted your weekly schedule should be similar to this:
2 days of lecture
1 day of lab
1-2 days of clinicals usually during the week and during the day.
(But clinicals can range from 7pm- 7am and/or could be on Saturdays or Sunday's)
They also mentioned that you may be able to pick your clinical locations & times after the first semester.
In a class lecture you will be with all of the students who attend the program in one class with 4 professors. You are to maintain no lower than a 75 in each class during the program.
For those looking to get a loan for school, the nursing student who spoke recommended Frostbank (0% interest)
They recommended to take a medical terminology course if you have the liberty to do so meanwhile you wait to hear back.
As you know the program is 16 months straight, it also has a 2 week break in between each semester.
The tour was the best part. We were able to see the simulation labs and see the different labs. I'll try to attach a photo of the simulation mannequin who talks, sweats, urinates, speaks
and blink his eyes.
The main speaker gave us her email and said we could email her about any concerns at [email protected]
Hope this covered some new info. :)
