UTMB Summer 2015 - anyone?

Hello,

I've applied to UTMB starting in May of 2015.

I had not seen any posts regarding this so I though I would get it going.

All my stuff is with the school and my "mystar" is up and going.

97th Percentile TEAS

4.0 Science

3.10 B.B.A. of finance

Anyone have any idea of when we might hear something?

Update

I talked to the school the other day b/c I was trying to strong arm them into giving me an interview the day that I would be in Galveston for the next open house.

She asked my the submission date of my app which was 8/19. She told me the committee convened and started reviewing applications over 2 weeks ago and that if I had not heard a peep by the week of the Nov. 14th to call her back. She was telling me I should hear before then so this is great news, and I mean I will hear about an interview not acceptance.

This is great news! I have been sitting on the edge of my seat waiting to hear when they will be doing interviews. If you don't mind my asking, what was your GPA and Teas score?

I have 3.3 overall

3.65 science

and 3.58 prerequisite

83 percent on TEAS.

I know it depends on every semesters applicant pool, I am just so hopeful, good luck everyone!

I applied for the spring 2015 term and a lot of us were wait listed for the spring with automatic consideration for the summer, I'm guessing they didn't have enough applicants for the summer

I am hoping that is the case. I wonder how competitive the GPA and Teas score was for the spring.

Thats funny, because I called the other day as well to get an update and the coordinator said they haven't even begun reviewing applications yet. She said right now they are going through applicants who were put on the waiting list but wouldn't start reviewing new applicants till November.

Guess it depends on the dept. you spoke with. I spoke directly with admissions, person off the letter I was sent.

I got an email this morning inviting me for an interview and I am a new applicant so they must be reviewing already. Good luck everyone!!

I had my interview today and the lady I interviewed with said they would like to make most of their decisions before thanksgiving. So we may all be hearing sooner than we think.
