Hey there! I will be starting at UTMB here in the next couple of months and wanted to see if any of the current students that started in the spring could give me some insight about what there typical week schedule is? Thanks so much!!

I was just accepted for the summer semester. When I applied I am in the middle of taking Micro, and I still have my science elective and chemistry to take next semester. I had already take A&P 1 and 2 and nutrition. UTMB requires you to have at least 8 hours of science prerequisites completed before applying. Hope this helps!

My green circle changed to a check mark today and it gives me an option to accept or decline admission so they are beginning to make decisions. :) i can't wait to meet everyone next summer! Let's start a FB group soon! I haven't received an email, I just checked my Mystar account.

How was the open house? I had my interview now just waiting on the edge of my seat to hear. The wait is killing me, haha.

Don't feel discouraged, it's still early. It's only been 2 weeks since applications were due so this is probably just the first round of interviews. And your stats definitely meet their requirements! I've heard every applicant pool is different. Your stats are almost the same as mine for grades. And a 74 TEAS score is still good. I hope you hear about an interview soon! :)

She made it sound like they were trying to make all decisions for the summer by that date. Since there will only be 80 applicants that they accept this semester for the summer, she said they are trying to have the decisions made sooner. Did you interview for the Spring?

I had my interview today and the lady I interviewed with said they would like to make most of their decisions before thanksgiving. So we may all be hearing sooner than we think.

I am hoping that is the case. I wonder how competitive the GPA and Teas score was for the spring.

This is great news! I have been sitting on the edge of my seat waiting to hear when they will be doing interviews. If you don't mind my asking, what was your GPA and Teas score? I have 3.3 overall 3.65 science and 3.58 prerequisite 83 percent on TEAS. I know it depends on every semesters applicant pool, I am just so hopeful, good luck everyone!

I got notice from NursingCas that my application has been verified. So I should be getting my supplemental application from UTMB soon! Yay! My husband and I went down to Galveston to visit the campus today. It made it all feel so real. Can't believe our applications are almost due and we could know whether we got in by christmas. I feel like this forum is so bare. Is there another one I don't know about? Good luck everyone!! Hopeful we all get in!
