UTMB Spring 2012

Hey Guys!

I thought it would be a good idea to start a thread for all UTMB Galveston's Spring 2012 traditional bsn applicants. Have you all started to apply yet or at least looked at the application? What do you think? How are your personal statements/testing going? If you guys have anything worth discussing please post and good luck to all!

I got accepted! I am beyond excited!!!! Can't wait to meet my fellow classmates!

hello.....now that am in.....i was wondering how many of you will be staying on campus and how many of you would be staying on apartments....just wondering.....trying to find a roommate ......and have any of you heard about scholarships and so forth??...

I am interested in finding a roommate if anyone else wants to talk about it. I am going to be in a two bedroom apartment on the island that is very close to the school (close enough to ride a bike to class :) )

I'm still debating on whether I'm going to move to the island...it's either Clear Lake or Galveston. :confused:

Hello I got accepted last saturday!!! but I dont know where to live. Do most people live in houston or galveston. I don't care about it this subject on terms of one being "ghetto" etc, just more concerned about convenience....

I actually live on the island. I've literally been here since I was 5. Went to school here and everything. Depending on your price range, there are some decent apartments here and there. I live at the very end of the seawall on the west end and there are a cluster of apartments nearby. It takes about 15-20min to drive to UTMB from there. There are a few decent areas closer to UTMB too. I would suggest that you just come down and check everything out for yourself because there are a lot of decent options if you want to live on the island.

let me tell you....i interviewed september 9th lol!! yes long 6 weeks......but i have seen that the ones interviewed in october found out like a week or even days later........i was the first batch to interview ...and for some reason they didnt start looking at them until last week or so.....but i believe that you will fidn out sooner...whats ur gpa if you dont mind me asking??
