UTMB Spring 2012

Hey Guys!

I thought it would be a good idea to start a thread for all UTMB Galveston's Spring 2012 traditional bsn applicants. Have you all started to apply yet or at least looked at the application? What do you think? How are your personal statements/testing going? If you guys have anything worth discussing please post and good luck to all!

i have a quick question for those that have already had an interview. did you take something with you to your interview regarding transcripts or something like that? i was reading something online and it said to bring a student resume and transcripts with you to your interview. i found that a little weird and thought about asking you guys.

When did you find you find that out? Was it a different wording in the email than the original one?

You might want to double check that they really want to re interview you....

My teacher told me that last semester her friend was trying to get into their Nurse Practitioner program ( which is a Post Masters program....) and they sent her an acceptance to the BSN traditional program!!! Just saying....

Kinda the same wording, but I called and TS told me it was for a Second Interview. I received it via email around 12:46. Unlike the first email it didnt cc anybody and other than that everything is the same. They wanted me to Interview for October 12 at 10 am. I have never heard of a second Interview so we shall see.

Did you ask waht it meant? Or if that if it was normal? I have never heard of such a thing, but I am pretty sure its a good thing :)

Thanks, hopefully this means there working on you guys acceptance letters cause I was in the first batch. I had to reschedule because they wanted me to come in for tomorrow and I've been off of work for a couple days due to having a bad case of the flu so my job doesn't wanna give me off. So I'll go with the next batch of interviews.

My friend got a second interview as well. Pretty lame considering the drive is pretty far. I still have not received an interview, but I am not worrying about it because I don't want the stress lol

I guess its possible that they have no idea what was said or who they want in the first interview round because it was over a month ago. They are really bringing out all the stops for changing stuff up this semester....
