UTMB Spring 2012

Hey Guys!

I thought it would be a good idea to start a thread for all UTMB Galveston's Spring 2012 traditional bsn applicants. Have you all started to apply yet or at least looked at the application? What do you think? How are your personal statements/testing going? If you guys have anything worth discussing please post and good luck to all!

Hopefully since they have waited so long the mext group of =interviews will onlyhave to wait a little compared to those of you who interviewed early.

I sure hope so! That would be AMAZING! I thought waiting for the interview was bad. Waiting for a final answer is killing me and my interview was only on Thursday! This is going to be the longest couple of weeks of my life. I just might go crazy lol :bugeyes:

And I know I've said it before, but I seriously hope my interviewer was wrong about the response time. The more I think about it, the end of November is just absurd. There's no way.

I went to open house and DLT said that about three more batches of interviews were going to be sent out, so we shouldn't worry yet. (Like that helps right?) I'm a 4.0 and made in the 90s on my TEAS (I don't remember the exact score but it was upper...) I know that my scores are all almost perfect and my app hasn't even been looked at yet. THAT is frustrating. I've worked way too hard for this to not even be looked at! Oh, and I'm addicted to this forum you guys.. haha.

That's great news! Did they say anything about those who've already gotten interviewed, by chance? I haven't been to an open house yet... Maybe I should go??

No sorry, we only spoke about upcoming invites. But the person I spoke to was T.C., and she seems pretty knowledgable. As far as going to the open house, you should! It only confirmed how bad I want to go there!! lol

Just ralkedo TS. She said to expect by beginning of next week, acceptance letters. Said 120 slots for traditional, only including baac that chose to drop into traditional.

Next week? I was told on Friday that acceptance letters would be going out today.

Apparently they are still very far behind. TS said she is the one who does it and is still really behind. She said if we don't hear anything by the end of next week to start calling.

When you say that TS is the only one doing it. Does that just means that she's the only one that send sour the actual acceptance letters or notification for interviews or both? Thanks

Sounds like she does the processing. She said she has to get everything together and still get it all approved by TC. She said they were still going through apps to get interviews out as well.

Wow there's a TC too? Lol. Well thanks. Not giving hope yet. Fingers crossed. I haven't received word yet on anything!
