Hey Guys!
I thought it would be a good idea to start a thread for all UTMB Galveston's Spring 2012 traditional bsn applicants. Have you all started to apply yet or at least looked at the application? What do you think? How are your personal statements/testing going? If you guys have anything worth discussing please post and good luck to all!
If anyone is interested in the Skyscape Nursing Constellation Plus app, I have a link that I am happy to share that brings it down from the original price of 209.00 to the sale price of 179.95 down to 155.00. It's a great app with TONS of useful information for both clinicals and coursework. If you interested just PM me and I will send you the link.
Just wanted to pop in and say 'Hi' - I will be starting the traditional program next week - we just finished up orientation today! To say that my application process was frustrating and stressful is a total understatement. But, hang in there!!
Our deadline was Feb 15 and I didn't hear a word back for almost 6 weeks, and then it was still another 3 weeks before I received an acceptance letter. Even during orientation this week, they've had people admitted (because others dropped out already). And best piece of advice, buy some patience, because this isn't the most frustrating part of the school. But, that being said, I am thrilled and honored to be here, and even though it feels totally disorganized at times, I wouldn't go anywhere else!
Good luck!!
I never figured you out, either. I was in front right of class, pink glasses :) glad you're trying again!! We'd end up graduating together :) so, good luck and I hope to meet you soon!!
Good for you! I am trying again for the spring class (both acc and trad). Hope to see u around there in a few months. I never did fig out who you were in our Patho class! Haa!
Just a small friendly warning, for anyone going to sign up for a "bunch" of classes and then just drop the ones you don't need, I have heard that Texas has new or fairly new legislation about a max number of classes that you are allowed to drop before all other classes dropped are turned to a grade of F. I think the number was 6 but can't remember for sure. This number is a lifetime number, not a semester or college number. Just my two cents.
