Hey guys Im making this thread so all of the applicants for UTMB Spring 2010 can follow each other through the process and help each other out! The application deadline is coming up soon! Goodluck to all!:nuke: I know they are only exepting 60 for the spring.
Thank you guys!
I got an email! and then I had to call mrs. A to set up the interview....I was very worried bc I knew I was not going to make it, so she said she is going to set me up for a phone interview. It was around 9am thats what my inbox said..and I just called her about an hour ago ( I had classes all day)
If you go to the UTMB website under Nursing, Baccalaureate, there's a section on requirements. If you go there, there's a link for something like QuickChek or security screening (heck, I can't remember what it's called). Follow the links to your online background screening. I THINK it was $52.
Hey everyone im new to this forum and it sounds like im one the same track as everyone else. I have my interview last friday nov. 6 and it went well. any way the lady that interviewed me said that i should get a e-mail in a week so this week weither or not in get in the program or not. wish everyone well!
Whoo WHOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Congrats Ms Pink!!!!!!!!!!!!! I was wondering about you. I'm glad to see you are still with us.
Congrats Emag!!!!!!!!! You finally have surfaced again, was kinda worried about you.
Jade stay hopeful, I believe even though you didn't get an interview you will get in. Just look at it as not having to go thru the nervousness of an interview. I met a person that started this fall in UTMB and didn't get an interview. Every good thing is always worth waiting for.
Ms Sealy age ain't nothing but a number. The lady that I posted about in my previous post thats in the program now is in her late 30's early 40's and has three kids and she is in and told me her lowest grade is a 85. So I see it as them looking at you as somebody who is settled in life and knowing what they want.
Congrats again to everyone who recieved their invite today and kick butt the old fashion way for all of those who didn't get an interview. HOOORAHHHH!!!!!!!!
LOL!!! That my pep talk of the night.

Sammie, I have been looking for an apartment in Galveston as well. I have been reading the reviews of several complexes and they have gotten mixed reviews, so that makes me nervous. I don't want to select a complex and regret it after I move in. Are you wanting it to be really close to school or just on the island? The Bacc2 program only requires us to go to campus like once a week, so I'm looking at places a little farther from campus because they seem to be nicer and safer.
