Yes I am in the program but I'm not sure how many pts I got, I did have all the prereqs and most of the classes done that you could get extra pts for, med terminology psy chem pe eng 2 and a few others. If you get in those are some of the classes that u take during the program. So take them if you can! Also I got A and B in all the classes. Hope that helps

For utmb my science gps is 3.75 and over all is 3.5. I would sugest that you finish all pre reqs by the time you apply because I'm almost 100% sure that is why I did not get in. I am not sure what my total points were for com but I will try to do that tomorrow. Also I think the reason why there not that many people talking about the com program is because it is smaller and also normally there is only a fall rn program this is the first year that they had a spring rn program. But I definaly think it is a good program!!!

I live at home still with the parents so I won't be much help. But I do know that those areas are more expensive so personally I would look in Texas city area because I have a few friends that have apartments and it's 600 for a one bedroom with all bills paid I don't remember what the apratments are called but the are on the north side of loop in Texas city. Plus those apartments are only 10 min away from campus. But besides that I don't know let me know if you are interested and I will get you the name of the apartment. Also if you are looking of a house there are some pretty cheap ones. I will advise that if you decide to move to Texas city not to live on the south east side, let's just say that's it's not the nicest place. Anyway hope that helped some and sorry I could not give you any info on any where else but Texas city. What can I say I've been here my whole life lol.

hey everyone i just thought i would let you know that i still have not heard from UTMB but i have heard from College of the mainland. I accepted com's offer. Its a new spring ADN program with only 20 people in the class. Which i think will be better for me because i have always done better in smaller classes. ALSO o want to wish everyone luck with UTMB's program. HAve a merry CHRISTMAS!

I was just wondering for those of us who have gotten in, what kind of experience you have had in the medical field if any. I am currently on the wait list and i am trying to figure out a back up plan in case I dont get in. THANKS

Well saturday i got a letter from UTMB and it said that i was waitlisted. I called yesterday and the lady said that at the very latest I could heard from them by Jan 6. I hope i hear from them before then. Im finishing classes this week at COM and grades are due Tuesday of next week so i will send them a transcript next week. Hopfull now that i have finished my pre reqs they will except me again lol. well hope everyones day is going great!!!

so yesterday i got the call that i was in and today i got a call saying that there was a mix up and that im waitlisted! I was able to get some good news though that im next in line to get in. pray for me please. thanks

hey guys good news... I GOT IN!!!! I called mrs. L back yesterday and left a message on her machine. she called me back at 11:30ish while i was in my ethics class. i ran out of my class and answered the call. she wanted to know how my classes were going then at the end she said well i guess i can put you in the acceptance pile!!! i totally freaked out!! i'm so happy i got in! any one going to take CPR certification this sat. around houston?

ok UTMB called me and i missed their call cuz i was at school and was not able to talk with any one cuz i got out of school at 5 and everyone was gone. anyway they said that i was a good applicant and that they needed to talk to me about my course work (im guessing because Im still talking chem and stats). so i hope that they call tomorrow morning! wish me luck!!!
