UTMB FALL 2019

The UTMB Fall 2019 application opens soon on November 15! Have you started on your essay or the TEAS preparation yet? I am so excited and nervous at the same time and have been stalking past threads on AllNurses.

Currently taking AP I and Microbiology and will be taking AP II in the Spring. I hope to take the TEAS by the end of December.

Please feel free to discuss your experience, stats, comments, etc.

Not on my end. I called enrollment services today and asked about a detail regarding my application and the woman I spoke with said they were still transferring information over from nursingcas. Ever since your post I’ve been checking mystar twice as much, my anxiety has definitely shifted into high gear ?

Not yet, I've been checking several times a day ? I've got decent stats (4.0 Science, 3.82 Overall/Prereq, and 88% overall on TEAS with 80 or higher in each category, and I think my statement was great, but that's subjective of course ?) so I'm hoping maybe by tomorrow or early next week my to do list will update. On last years thread some people said theirs updated on the 8th. I've got my fingers crossed, and I know its still very early, but I'm kinda freaking out ?

Hey guys, thank you for responding to my comment. I got this link from the UTMB site and will list it down below. For science preregs: A&P 1, A&P 2, Micro, Chem, Elective science, and Nutrition. My whole point here is, i’m not sure what UTMB will base their decision on. Whether it’s base on the evaluation form or through the CAS because the GPA from both are not the same.

Also, there are a few classes that I took that has nothing to do with preregs, that’s why I don’t get why would they make their decision on the CAS GPA. On top of that, the CAS actually sink my GPA because I retook some of the classes.

Those are great stats! You should qualify for early admittance! I saw on another thread that they look through apps in the order that they received them. I probably sent mine earlier than you, so hang in there! You should get an update soon!

Is it only that though? All of my prereqs were complete before I applied.

Then you shouldn't have any of those show up. It might show up other things that have yet to be done. Mine had the TEAS under To Do but I know I submitted it so I called admissions and they fixed it for me.

That makes since. I supposed I'm just confused why people consider it a good sign when their to-do lists is updated? It seems to me like it's just part of the process of transferring NursingCas info to the UTMB admissions committee. I could be wrong though. No matter how much research I do I still feel like I know barley anything about this process, haha.

I think on past threads people said their to do list updated directly prior to them receiving an interview email or early admission email.

Has anyone else not gotten the second application after NursingCAS? My NursingCAS was just verified yesterday due to a transcript that never got to them :(
