The UTMB Fall 2019 application opens soon on November 15! Have you started on your essay or the TEAS preparation yet? I am so excited and nervous at the same time and have been stalking past threads on AllNurses.
Currently taking AP I and Microbiology and will be taking AP II in the Spring. I hope to take the TEAS by the end of December.
Please feel free to discuss your experience, stats, comments, etc.
Good luck to all of us! :)

Then denials were sent out followed by waitlist. They are still currently reviewing the applicants that would normally get an interview. Then should send those acceptances after review since no longer interview. This is just my theory and I could very well be wrong.
But the stats of people with no emails appear to have stronger GPAs and more healthcare experience than this who were waitlisted.
Stay positive I think we still have a chance!
I know several people accepted in the first round (including myself) that don't qualify for the honors program. Stats are important but from what I've seen they aren't a reliable way to determine what your admissions status may be. What ever the process is, I hope y'all hear back soon!
My theory is that they have already given out all their acceptances. They sent out for sure denials and waitlists. Those of us that are in limbo are in line to be accepted with the spots that open up. If not enough spots open up we will be put on the waitlist.
That is my theory. We shall all see. Either way good luck to everyone!
All acceptance emails (130) have already been sent out as many people have stated. Not just for honors, as I did not qualify. For those who have been accepted, it becomes more evident that UTMB is a long process based on the acceptance letter in the mail, so those who haven't received anything, be patient and check your email and spam.
If you have not received anything, they are still reviewing your application for denial or waitlist. Many people have gotten denied and waitlisted. I got accepted and denied my acceptance a few days ago, so good luck to somebody already on the waitlist!

There are no interviews this semester. All acceptances have been sent out already.

Oh no ?
How did you find that out?
Got my denial, but I don't feel too bad. I asked what I could do to make myself more competitive and she said "you can retake some classes if you want, but your stats weren't bad. It was just that competitive." Their lowest GPA was a 3.45. Don't feel bad y'all keep trying! I have a couple of other schools I'm waiting on so fingers crossed!
