UTMB FALL 2019

The UTMB Fall 2019 application opens soon on November 15! Have you started on your essay or the TEAS preparation yet? I am so excited and nervous at the same time and have been stalking past threads on AllNurses.

Currently taking AP I and Microbiology and will be taking AP II in the Spring. I hope to take the TEAS by the end of December.

Please feel free to discuss your experience, stats, comments, etc.

Were you first waitlisted or was that the first contact you received from them since applying?

I called and asked last week. She said that is part of what they can't release sadly.

I could be wrong but it looks like orientation is may 3rd Hopefully we can here something back by then even though the email said waitlisted people could be accepted up to Aug 23.

I wonder if they send out waitlist/denial emails in waves because I've been checking my email every twenty minutes hoping for at least SOMETHING! This wait is unbearable :///

May orientation is for summer start I believe. So we have more time. ?

the wait really is unbearable! I really cannot imagine having to wait till Aug 23! Lots of us need to look for housing, give 1 month notices at our jobs and stuff...

The waitlist was from the ADN program I applied to. The first contact I received from UTMB was a denial.

New student orientation for fall start BSN students is August 26. The May date is for summer start. If you applied for summer start there is a different thread for that.

Also keep in mind the first round of acceptances have to make a decision by tomorrow, so they will probably start pulling from the waitlist soon!
