UTMB FALL 2019

The UTMB Fall 2019 application opens soon on November 15! Have you started on your essay or the TEAS preparation yet? I am so excited and nervous at the same time and have been stalking past threads on AllNurses.

Currently taking AP I and Microbiology and will be taking AP II in the Spring. I hope to take the TEAS by the end of December.

Please feel free to discuss your experience, stats, comments, etc.

I was talking about this with a friend of mine who also applied to UTMB but hasn't received anything. I was wait listed on Tuesday. Based on what Mrs. Botello told me when I called, I think those that have been placed on the wait list are going to be pulled first for acceptance depending on how many of the 130 applicants decline acceptance on April 12. After some on the wait list are pulled, then those who haven't received anything will be added to the wait list. This is merely a theory we came up with.

I pray we all hear something good soon!

oh wow so could it be that they already sent out all 130 acceptances? For some reason I thought they only sent out early acceptances, but I guess it makes sense. since they aren't doing interviews.

Yes, Mrs. Botello said they decided not to do any interviews this semester and already accepted 130 individuals. I'm assuming those on the wait list will hear back the week of April 15 whether they are being given admission.

wow! then I really wonder why when people call they are saying they are "still reviewing applications" hmmm.... Iooks like all we have left to do is wait for the week of April 15 ?. I'm one of the applicants who hasn't received anything at all.

What are the stats of other people that haven’t received any emails?

Overall GPA 3.8

science GPA 3.8

TEAS: 82

Assiociates degrees as a Vascular Sonographer and 3 years health care experience.

I haven’t heard of anyone getting accepted except for those select few with outstanding stats. I feel like they haven’t sent anything beyond that.

I'm just restating what I was told by Elizabeth Botello when I called UTMB. She said all acceptance emails have already gone out.
