Hello everyone! I’m not sure if anyone checks this forum anymore, but I figured this would be worth a shot. I am applying to TAMUCC’s ABSN program for Summer 2021 entry. I’m stumped on the part of the personal statement prompt that asks, “how you envision a link between art and nursing”. Was this a part of the prompt when you all applied? If so, how did you all address it?

This alternate hasn't. I sent them an email last week. I asked when the alternates would know if a position opened. They haven't responded.

The waitlist was from the ADN program I applied to. The first contact I received from UTMB was a denial.

I got my denial this morning, too. I applied to an ADN program that put me on their waitlist, and I'm also waiting to her back from UT Health. My fingers are still crossed! Good luck to you all!

I called yesterday and they said they're still reviewing applications, and I should get an email within the next couple of weeks.

I was also accepted as an alternate for the fall. I am not sure how many they have per semester. I asked them where I was on list, and they said they were not able to disclose that information. I will say this, though. A friend of mine that I took micro with last semester applied to start this semester, Spring 2019. He was initiallly offered conditional admittance for the Fall 2019 semester and he accepted it. A spot opened the Friday a week before classes began this spring, they called him, he accepted the spot, and is in nursing school at Blinn now. Therefore, idk how long the list is but there is obviously hope since the contacted my friend at the last minute last semester.

Hi everyone! I have applied to UTMB for the Fall 2019 semester as well. I felt guilty for reading this thread and not saying anything so here I am, lol! Anyway, I still haven't heard anything. I am praying for an email this week requesting an interview. Good luck everyone!
