Keep your head up! Same thing happened to me, but it wasn't discovered until my interview when my interviewer questioned something that I had written in my essay that didn't match up. When it was explained and a corrected transcript was pulled up, I was accepted on the spot. Good luck and don't get discouraged. Besides, having an interview gives you a chance to meet some of your faculty. Impress them - they will remember you!!

So an update.... I was waiting to figure out if I was gonna have good news to share.. Well I don't I spoke to one of the admins for admission, and she was looking into my transcripts because based off of how they calculate grades I should qualify for early admittance.... Well.... whoever input my info didn't input my grades right, they calculated the classes that are over 5 years old that I retook, and I was told that they would not be used to consider my admittance. Well.... I was told that they would recalculate my GPA, but that at this point early admit is done. I was told that the committee would not meet again until Feb 27th, and that is when they will start deciding who is getting interviews. I was told that I should get an interview though because my grades are fantastic as well as my test scores..... Ugh! This sucks that someone screwed up! I could be admitting to everyone right now that I was admitted but now I am just saying someone screwed up.... Here is to hoping that I get an interview Good Luck everyone.... So first set of emails should be going out next week if they are meeting on the 27th....

Punkeydoodles - You had the same exact thing happen to you? That is promising to hear that something good could happen at the interview. I wished that someone had calculated my GPA correctly the first time With my bad semester from 2004 (over 5 years ago), my GPA is 3.3-ish, but if calculated the way I was told it would be calculated, my GPA should be around 3.7+.... Oh I sure hope that I get the an interview!

Hey guys! I finally decided to share my angst with those that most understand it and give my poor husband a break! I'm all caught up on the 3 forums I'm interested in, so now I'm feeling a little better. From what I've seen so far, I have much in common with a few contributors. I've applied at UTMB, TWU, & UTHSC for Fall 2012. (As if waiting to hear from 1 school isn't stressful enough, right?!) So happy to know that I'm not alone though! Congratulations to those that have already been accepted. What a wonderful feeling that must be! Best of luck to everyone!

You should be getting them to your regular email I'd assume. That's where they sent the information about our log in and I didn't see an email portal for the school on there. I think they won't be sending those out until next week unfortunately

Hi everyone,

After reading this message board for months, I have finally decided to join. I applied to UTHSC, UTMB and TWU for the Fall of 2012, and am so incredibly nervous to find out if I get accepted! My background and degrees are in architecture, but I recently decided to return to school for nursing. My stats are as follows:

First Undergraduate GPA: 3.484

First Graduate GPA: 4.0

Nursing Prerequisite GPA: 3.9

Science GPA: 4.0

TEAS V: 92

I hope this is good enough. I'm not going to lie, I was a bit bummed I didn't get an early admission email, but am hopeful I will get an email this coming week for an interview! Best of luck to everyone in the coming weeks!

I have also applied to UTMB for the fall of 2012! I am currently at COM finishing up my basics. I am in Micro, Chem, Gen bio, and Nutrition as of now. My GPA is a 3.6 and I scored a 76.7% over all on my TEAS. Nothing amazing but average. I am SO nervous! I want this so bad! It's nice to be able to see everyone's progress on here!

Hi all,

I have been reading everyone's post and finally decided to write on here. I'm also applying for the fall 2012. I received an email back in January from an adviser stating that the interviews should be happening in February. Today is the last day of February and still no email or anything regarding an interview. I was just wondering why it would take this long. I'm thinking they have many applicants to review, but I'm getting a little worried. I'm just really nervous!!

Anyway, good luck to everyone and hopefully we hear something soon!

We were given February 27th as the date for first rounds of interviews to begin at the last info session, but since no one on here has gotten word about an interview, I'm guessing they have been delayed. I'm trying to be patient, but it's so hard! I'm glad I'm not alone in my constant inbox/mailbox/message board stalking! It makes me feel slightly less crazy :)

Hi everyone! I have been lurking for a while as well and thought I would say Hi. I check here several times a day and constantly check my email. Then I go back and read and re-read previous threads. :) I hope that we all get good news soon.
