HI! I am applying for the traditional BSN program at UTMB that starts Fall 2012. I am taking my TEAS this friday and I wanted to know if anyone else here is applying for the same semester. Hopefully there are others so I don't have to be nervous alone!!
Hi Everyone! I'm a 2nd semester student and just wanted to drop in and wish you all luck!! Things change on a regular basis with this school, so don't put the interview dates in stone! Biggest thing is just take deep breaths and relax - what happens is what happens :)
If your Mystar continues to say incomplete, stay on them. Don't badger every day, but keep an eye out on your own application! Trust me!
Good luck - Hope to meet you all in the Fall!
P.S. If you have any questions, I'd be happy to help. I'm drowning in school this semester, but will pop in when I can!
My mystar still says incomplete and i called and got the same response. I got the early admit email so u should not worry if they told u that they are just waiting on the grades from ur current classes. If they looked it up they should have told u if they had everything else (Teas score, transcript, etc...). If this is the case then no worries!!
Thanks!
Anybody have any idea when they might send out emails for the first round of interviews?
Hello! I'm a Springer, who just started UTMB this semester... My application deadline was June 15th or so, and I got an email at the end of august for an interview in September... It took a while, so hang in there!
Thanks! After reading the previous conversation threads i was thinking that i would not hear anything until march or april, so i was totally shocked when i checked my email today and read that! i was so excited and didnt know what to do lol. i called and accepted and then i called everyone to tell them the news. My hands were literally shaking!!
Congratulations!! I started this semester and the wait was long and torturous...lol!!! Can't wait to meet you in the Fall!!

Thats understandable. Not really a concern for me though. I don't miss class and I don't fail tests. It seems that most people who get accepted would be in the upper echelon of students and not really ones who fail tests. I can imagine that a small minority might screw off but I cannot imagine that is much of a concern for most of us. Not to mention, pretty wise to "release' students who are not getting it enough to pass.
