UTMB Fall 2012

HI! I am applying for the traditional BSN program at UTMB that starts Fall 2012. I am taking my TEAS this friday and I wanted to know if anyone else here is applying for the same semester. Hopefully there are others so I don't have to be nervous alone!!

Hey guys! I hope everyone enjoyed their Christmas break and are getting all their items in before the deadline that is quickly approaching! I took the TEAS last week and the HESI this week and WOW were they different! I'm looking forward to being done with the application process only to sit and wait (impatiently of course) to hear anything back from UTMB! I live in Houston and will be commuting back and forth ... anyone else doing this? Anyway here are my results from my tests! Good luck to everybody and hope you all have a Happy New Year!

I'm applying to UTHSC as well and got a 96% on the HESI. If anyone needs any help or advice through their application process I'd be happy to help!

Hi! Congrats on amazing scores!!! I'm guessing hesi was much more of a breeze? What study methods ,materials did you use to help prepare you?

wow..... your message almost brought me to tears... i cant believe you didnt get accepted, well wherever u are and whatever u are doing im hoping that you found a school that will give u the oppertunity to achieve your dreams. Im assuming they felt your being an LVN would give u an unfair advantage over the other students or even maybe it would have u set in your ways, Ive also applied and am an LVN, mentioned it in my letter and although ive been nervous im absolutely sure that I will not get in so im glad i applied to other schools as well. This is a huge disappointment and I feel heartbroken for not only you but for myself. But thank you SO much for sharing your story, u just dont know how much it has helped me and what peace of mind it gave me and now there is no way I will take a rejection personally, or as a reflection of my self worth or potential as a student or as a current nurse. Your spa and teas is so much better than mine so i know that if u did not get accepted there is no hope for me. I wont give up though...and neither should u. Be blessed!
