HI! I am applying for the traditional BSN program at UTMB that starts Fall 2012. I am taking my TEAS this friday and I wanted to know if anyone else here is applying for the same semester. Hopefully there are others so I don't have to be nervous alone!! :D

Still on waitlist... praying hard and really hoping to hear something by today or next week....

I was accepted and your GPA is only .1 less than mine and I only scored a 76.7 on my TEAS! So you should be fine:)! I would be more than happy to offer you some tips or answer any questions you have about the interview if I am not too late! Just let me know!

Heyyyy. This is my first day on allnurses and I was wondering if you could share what kind of interview questions you were asked? Every little thing helps! Thanks :))

Hello everyone, I am new to this forum. Im also attending utmb this fall, the date is getting close and i would like to know if anyone can send a facebook invite. I have Been trying to find one but im not sure if there is one.

This is also my first time leaving a comment.. I found out a few weeks ago I was accepted after being waitlisted.. I was wondering about the FB page as well.. If anyone also has any info on housing I would be interested to hear because I currently live in Austin and have only been to Galveston once. I am going to be in town tomorrow and Monday so any extra info would be appreciated!!

Okay, so I've finally heard from UTMB.....Acceptance letter! I should be happy, right? Well, not really; but still grateful that I finally heard something from them! Anyway, the letter states that I have been accepted to the Spring 2013 Baccalaureate program. However, I am still on the waitlist for Fall 2012. I applied for Fall 2012, but got accepted for Spring 2013 so I don't really know what to do. Another thing, I have until Aug 3 to decided whether to accept or decline the offer.

I have been accepted to another school and finished most of the requirements for that school(and spent a lot, too!), and I will be starting next month if ever. I mean, waiting for another semester for the BSN program or ADN program that will start next month. Any inputs about this 'kind of problem' that I am dealing with right now? Your comments are greatly appreciated!

Oh, and btw...anyone received the same letter?

After long months of waiting I'm happy to say that I've been accepted to the Spring 2013 program. I'm currently on the wait list for Fall 2012 but received a letter saying that if I don't hear anything for this term that I will automatically be accepted to Spring. I'm beyond excited! Good luck to everyone! Don't lose hope.

I just read your comment right after posting mine! Anyway, I received the same letter. I don't think its a bad thing, so long as we got accepted! And about which school--whichever would make you happiest. As for me, UTMB was my first choice. Good luck!

Hi everyone! I just found this page and have been accepted for Fall 2012 as well. Is there a facebook page for our class and if so can I get an invite please? Can't wait to meet everyone next month at orientation! :)

UTMB was my first choice as well, but waiting for another semester?hmmm My ADN program will start next month(spent a bunch already and finished all the requirements), and UTMB(if ever) will start on January. Good thing about waiting is I have more time to save considering I will spend a bunch of $$$$$ before entering the program, but the ADN doesn't cost that much compared to UTMB's though. That being said, I really do have a tough decision to make!hehe

Anyway, to those who received an acceptance letter, did your MyStar change because mine didn't! It states on the letter that we can accept or decline the offer via letter(the one we received) or by going online thru MyStar, but my MyStar says that 'I have no applications for admission'. Y'all have the same problem? I mean, about MyStar?

I also received a letter stating that I have been accepted for the spring 2013, but am still on the waiting list for fall 2012. My MyStar also says that I have no applications for admission. I just mailed the acceptance letter back to them, which should be enough, but I want to know why my MyStar doesn't have anything about an admission. I've e-mailed the office of admissions and they said they will look into it, but I have been accepted. I hope it just hasn't been updated on MyStar because we are still pending for fall 2012...?

I called in today and asked about the MyStar thingy. I was told that the 'accept or decline' will not show up on our MyStar until the Fall semester starts(they haven't updated our MyStar yet) because we're still on the waitlist for Fall 2012. She also said that they will send out emails in the coming weeks about the MyStar thingy. And lastly, I was told that we can ignore the Aug 3 deadline. However, I will trust my gut and send my decision thru mail to be sure. :)
