Hey guys! I was just called this morning about a spot opening up for the Fall 2012 class. Of course I accepted admission. I just feel so out of the loop! If you guys could send me the facebook link for our group. I'm assuming I'll find info on there about housing, carpooling, and possibly a roommate. Thanks! :)

@ruthmelody Yes! I start in spring. I want to be situated by the time school starts. I've talked to faculty at UTMB SON and I was told that I should just be preparing and getting organized before school starts. That students who have been accepted won't be receiving an acceptance packet until October. So that's why I'm just trying to find a decent place and roommate soon. Have you looked into any other places besides the frat houses?

No, I haven't checked it out. I'm planning on going next week on my day off. What are the fraternity houses like? I mean I saw the prices and they were pretty reasonable. Definitely a lot less expensive than the dorms.

I was looking into the Ferry Road apartments and was considering an efficiency until I found out it didn't have a kitchen! I can't imagine eating microwaveable food for 15 months.

I just read your comment right after posting mine! Anyway, I received the same letter. I don't think its a bad thing, so long as we got accepted! And about which school--whichever would make you happiest. As for me, UTMB was my first choice. Good luck!

After long months of waiting I'm happy to say that I've been accepted to the Spring 2013 program. I'm currently on the wait list for Fall 2012 but received a letter saying that if I don't hear anything for this term that I will automatically be accepted to Spring. I'm beyond excited! Good luck to everyone! Don't lose hope.

@Briandelsol Hurray for underdogs with a passion! lol I have the same scores as you and I also made the waitlist! I couldn't believe it....it just made me feel more confident. Now, I'm just patiently waiting and praying. Good luck!! :)

@kaimcn12 I don't think they're done. But last I heard from my interviewer was that I should've heard something by now. He mentioned he'd find out why I hadn't heard anything and then responded by telling me that I should hear something in the near future. So I'm super nervous! I guess I'm just expecting the worst but hoping for the best.
