UTHSCSA Accelerated BSN Summer 2015

Hi everyone!

I looked and looked on here but I didn't see a thread for people applying to the University of Texas Health Science Center San Antonio (UTHSCSA) Accelerated BSN Summer 2015 program, so I thought I'd start a thread. I just submitted my application (kind of late I know). How's it going for everyone?

Hi everyone! I'm bummed I hadn't found this thread in the past. Aren't we supposed to purchase the scrubs in the UTHSC bookstore?

As far as scrubs we have to purchase the clinical tops from the bookstore but it is my understanding we can purchase pants and non clinical tops elsewhere

Got mine as well. Does anyone know...Is the amount of aid shown for us to utilize for the summer semester vs the end of 2015 vs the entire program?

It's just for the summer session. I was wondering the same thing but the cost of attendance for summer 2015 is around 13,027, which is the same amount of aid I was offered. NOT TUITION costs***

We all have to fill out FAFSA for the 2015-2016 (which is fall, spring, summer) as well. But I'm not entirely sure if they provide aid for each semester or do they provide the full year worth at the beginning (fall in this case).

BUT, I have a lot of questions, so I am going to meet with a financial advisor at the school tomorrow morning, so I will share the information I get. :)

Don't quote me, I have never taken loans from a school personally, so I will be asking about different options and different amounts etc.

Anyone up late attempting to enroll in classes and getting an error message on the final step?

YES came here to see if I was the only one. I'm guessing its a glitch or something seeing as I have no holds. I'll try again in the morning I guess.

Me too! I just get a bunch of red X's on the final step. Maybe it will work tomorrow.

I can't even register for mine. When I click enroll, it says " you do not have access to enrollment at this time" and yes I have gotten a few error pages even before clicking on enroll. I have no holds and nothing under my to do list. I stayed up late for nothing lol

Mine was fine until the last step where I got the "you don't have access" message next to the course. APRIL FOOLS on us from UTHSCSA ( okay, we see you 😏)

I'm sure that 90 other slightly sleep deprived students have flooded the coordinator's inbox with "we can't register" emails, so could someone let me know when the problem is fixed :) thanks

Now I am getting a error saying I don't have the proper enrollment appointment.
