UTHSCSA Accelerated BSN Summer 2015

Published

Hi everyone!

I looked and looked on here but I didn't see a thread for people applying to the University of Texas Health Science Center San Antonio (UTHSCSA) Accelerated BSN Summer 2015 program, so I thought I'd start a thread. I just submitted my application (kind of late I know). How's it going for everyone?

I have question for the group. I just emailed the hs my immunization record. Do they send a confirmation email back or just remove the hold? And about how long does it take?

Turned in my form on Wednesday and they never sent a confirmation email, but I noticed the hold was removed today. :)

It took them about 4 business days to remove the hold after faxing in my form.

Anyone else incredibly nervous about financial aid/scholarship funding?!?

I just checked and my hold has been removed. Big sigh of relief to have no holds! I too am nervous about funding. Already having a bachelors puts us in a unique situation. I hope I don't have to do too many private loans.

Yea, a scholarship would be awesome, but it is stiff competition since there are so many qualified applicants to the program. I just hope I can get enough federal funding to cover it. Those are cheaper to pay back than private loans. 😞

My cousin lived at Riverstone for a year and she really liked it! The one bedroom was spacious enough for her and her dog.

Well I feel super defeated. Went to look for scrubs and there is not a single brand that sells women's pants long enough 😓 kind of ridiculous.

Barsumian,

It sounds cliche but have you tried the Grey's Anatomy scrubs in long? They are my favorite!

Lol wellllll..."tall" would fit most girls that are taller but I'm extra tall lol. I have checked every brand online and in store and the longest I've found was 34" and I'm a 35-36" 😩 I just wanna wear all the cute outfits.

Maybe the Koi Morgan scrubs would fit you. I'm usually in a regular, but had to get a petite because of how much longer they are.

I called the financial aid office this morning and the person I spoke with said they should be notifying us within the next couple of weeks about aid. I also called a couple of weeks ago and then someone told me they would notify us by end of March most likely but that it's not released until later. The lady I spoke with today said to make sure there is nothing on my to do list for financial aid so the process will go faster.
