Hi everyone!I looked and looked on here but I didn't see a thread for people applying to the University of Texas Health Science Center San Antonio (UTHSCSA) Accelerated BSN Summer 2015 program, so I thought I'd start a thread. I just submitted my application (kind of late I know). How's it going for everyone?

agonzalez22 25 Posts Nov 12, 2014 Hello fellow future nurses =)I submitted my NursingCAS app yesterday 11/11. All transcripts have been received - now just waiting on the app to be verified and sent over to UTHSCSA. I am scheduled to take the TEAS V the first week of December which will hopefully give me a little more time to brush up on those select subjects. Thanks for starting up this forum lalapenna!
Maric426 3 Posts Nov 19, 2014 I just applied today. I didn't realize it took nursing cas so long to complete everything. I called the school and they verified everything would still be ok so I hope it is. Oh well, I'm nervous but trying no to get worked up. Good luck to you all!
lalapenna 57 Posts Nov 21, 2014 I also did not realize everything would take so long until I started filling out the application. Fingers crossed everything gets there on time. Good luck to you too.
bittersweetrosie 1 Post Nov 23, 2014 also have my fingers crossed - I have heard from some they have high standards for getting accepted, anyone hear otherwise about this coming year (accelerated BSN)?..which makes me nervous about my application. I have a strong GPA but TEAS wasn't that high.
lalapenna 57 Posts Nov 23, 2014 I don't know if the standards are higher for this coming year; all I've really looked at are past admissions profiles on their website. The University of Texas Health Science Center - School of Nursing

I'm not sure if that's a good score or not, but according to those past admissions profiles I think my score's above average. Also, I've heard that UTHSC-San Antonio puts more emphasis on the TEAS V than GPA, so I can hope that's a good thing for me.I'm not a big fan of this new NursingCas 3.0 system. It says my application was "Verified". Does this mean that it got sent over to the nursing school?
