UTHSCSA Accelerated BSN Summer 2015

Hi everyone!

I looked and looked on here but I didn't see a thread for people applying to the University of Texas Health Science Center San Antonio (UTHSCSA) Accelerated BSN Summer 2015 program, so I thought I'd start a thread. I just submitted my application (kind of late I know). How's it going for everyone?

Hey! I am applying for the accelerated program starting May 2016. I can't seem to find a thread for that. But I just wanted to see if anyone here could tell me what your schedule is like? How many hours a day in class? Clinicals? Anything you can tell me would help!

Good luck to you! I am a current student in the 2016 accelerated class. Summer semester we had class all day monday and Tuesday. I can't remember the exact hours but it was all day, like business hours. Wed thru Friday we had lab/clinical half day, some morning and the other half the class had afternoon. It changes every semester. It's a busy schedule but it's only for 15 months. The hardest thing for us has been no break in between semesters. Fall semester started the week after summer finals.

Thanks for the information!! If you don't mind me asking, what did you score on the TEAS? And what was your GPA?

I'm in the program right now as well and scored a 92 on the TEAS and had a 3.3 GPA.
