UTHSCSA Accelerated BSN Summer 2015

Hi everyone!

I looked and looked on here but I didn't see a thread for people applying to the University of Texas Health Science Center San Antonio (UTHSCSA) Accelerated BSN Summer 2015 program, so I thought I'd start a thread. I just submitted my application (kind of late I know). How's it going for everyone?

Has anyone received anything in the mail about their background check? It's been longer than 7-10 days for me and still nothing.

It's been longer than 7-10 for me too and I haven't gotten anything.

Received my blue postcard yesterday.

I expected it to take longer than that! They said 7-10 days??? (business days I'm assuming) I don't think I have received anything yet.

I looked under the finance tab and only direct deposit and insurance request info popped up for me. I think they are waiting for my taxes to file into FAFSA. Is the scholarship application lengthy?

I think it was about 25 questions/fill in the blanks; most were short but about three or four were essay length. I didn't see a word or page limit on any except for one so I was kind of worried about length.

Still waiting on my blue card 😩. As anyone turned in the scholarship app, and when is the deadline?

The email said the scholarship application is due March 22nd. And you need to fill out FAFSA for 2014-2015 for it to show up.
