UTHSCSA Accelerated BSN Summer 2015

Hi everyone!

I looked and looked on here but I didn't see a thread for people applying to the University of Texas Health Science Center San Antonio (UTHSCSA) Accelerated BSN Summer 2015 program, so I thought I'd start a thread. I just submitted my application (kind of late I know). How's it going for everyone?

Does anyone know what category the online courses "NUR" are under? I have completed all the others, but cant find where items 3-8 are from our list. Any help would be great! Thanks

I'm having the same issue. Can't seem to find them.

i contacted the school and he said..."The NUR trainings will be assigned to all May 2015 Accelerated students very soon. Please check at the end of this week or next week to see if they appear." So.....my plan to just finish it all today is foiled. :(

I know everyone who needed the TWINRIX should have already started by now, but here's some info about HEB's TWINRIX accelerated schedule vaccine if anyone needs it or any future classes look for info. You can get the vaccine done at both the HEB Rediclinic and the HEB Pharmacy. However, if your insurance doesn't cover it, the cost of each shot through the Rediclinic is $208 where as the cost of each shot through the Pharmacy is $124.

On a different topic, all the NUR courses are available now. :)

Click "Course Catalog" and then "Nursing Students" and it will list them all.

I thought we couldn't until April, but not sure about that.

Has anyone heard anything from financial aid? I've seen they got my FAFSA stuff and I filled out the scholarship application...

I haven't heard anything either about financial aid, waiting to see what they offer. Where did you find the scholarship application?

I found it on the Student Center page of the portal under the "finances" section. I think it might not pop up unless they have received your FAFSA info. Someone posted on FB to be sure to fill out the 2014-15 and 2015-16 FAFSAs and they also said they got an email about the scholarship application but I never received one.

Has anyone received anything in the mail about their background check? It's been longer than 7-10 days for me and still nothing.
