Hi everyone, I just wanted to begin a thread for all UT Health SON students who are applying for Summer 2017. I didn't see a thread created for this term yet. I look forward to getting to know all of you as we begin this long journey. Feel free to share anything regarding the application process and/or ask any questions that you may have!

Hello all. I checked my app. status and it normally just says complete with the green dot. However, this morning it has no green dot and has the words "check application details" in the spot where the green dot used to be. I applied back in December and it has always had the green dot and the words "complete". Any thoughts?

Last semester, the link would open to your admissions decision. They may not have finished updating the server. Maybe try later in the day? Also, do you have any new holds in your student center?

Well, I know during admissions, they are in the school (not answering phones) but processing decisions, you may have caught them mid-upload or something. You can try again later in the day or wait for your email.

I checked my admission status and it says incomplete... ugh I'm freaking out. I wonder if mine says incomplete because I am currently still taking classes for this spring semester. Are you finished with all classes ?

Yes. Mine still says incomplete for that reason, and it will continue to say that until the decision is reached, at which point you get the above hyperlink with either a green check mark or the little red "evil" symbol LOL

That is correct. I ran into the same issue when i misread the 40 hour admission/application rule. I thought it meant you could be admitted so long as 40 hours were complete, but thats not the case. I wont have my statistics class completed in time, but I applied anyway. As for your governent classes, I would call and talk to them and plead your case. If they are truly American government classes, there is a good chance they were misread or overlooked. It has happened to others in the past and they have had their classes corrected. You may still be ok.

wow thanks for the reply ! I figured they wouldn't make a mistake reviewing classes, but maybe there is a chance they did ! I did not know that it has happened to other students. I'm definitely going to email them. If not, I see an American government class at HCC that starts march 3rd. Just the teacher is rated a 2.9 on rate my professor. com haha !!

Yeah, I'm done. This is my second degree. 1st degree in Health Education. I just needed to retake the science courses because they were more than 5 years old. I did well on the Hesi and I'm not sure of my numbers on the gpa stuff, but my gpa's are fine because I have good grades, I just don't have the exact number....applying is a huge accomplishment for me and God has the ultimate say so.......

Well my application status has changed to a hyperlink "view application details", however when clicked it does nothing.
