Just wanted to start a forum to see if there are any other nursing student applicants for the Fall semester? I just applied, although, I know I will not get a response until beginning of April. I was so excited since I just finished my HESI. I had to retake it since I did not take Vocab. the first time I took it? . Anyways, I really pray I get in for August so I can get started and not need to take any additional classes for other schools. My friend got in for Spring 2019 and she is loving it. I have really been fighting to get here for a VERY LONG TIME
Basically since you have all of those done you can do your titers. But if your titers say you're immune but you have low immunity Ms. Haimour told us you could do a booster for those in which you have low immunity in and do your titers AGAIN and to show you have high immunity OR you could do the whole series again. I had my Hep B done as a kid too and I just went straight to the titer and came out immune.
If you had to restart your Hep B series for whatever reason and you know it won't be complete by the first day of classes do not worry!! You can contact Ms. Haimour or she will contact you and you guys can go over your problem and like I said before if she sees youre doing them and all before the due date but won't finish in time she will work with you!!! You will just have to submit the paperwork as soon as you finish them though or she will put a hold on your account. Also for the fall you guys need your flu vaccine so don't forget that one! (Although don't get it yet since they new one isn't out yet and we were told it would come out middle/late August)
