UTA BSN SPRING 2018

Hi everyone, so i decided to go ahead and open up a forum for the 2018 spring start date. I know it might be early but hey everyone including me will have questions and become quite worried on getting in.

Hey y'all. So I finally decided to make an account so that I can comment. I spoke to the dean of nursing last week and she said that they are ranking us tomorrow & will send out application letters starting on the 25th. She also explained to me that we are only ranked among those who are applying for the same location as us. I am applying to both the online and on campus program. my stats are:

science gpa:3.67

Overall GPA: 3.75

no considerations

I am applying for the Dallas locations for the online program.... anyone else applying for the dallas clinical sites wanna comment their stats too?

Good to hear...that falls in with the same time frame as last year.

I applied to online in Houston & on campus. Have a 3.75 science GPA, 3.4 overall, 94 HESI, and at least 2 considerations. Been denied twice so far, so maybe 3rd times a charm.

I am also applying for a spot in Dallas as well. My stats are:

Science GPA: 3.0

Overall GPA: 3.0

Considerations: Prior Bachelors degree

HESI Score: 94 overall

If I was a betting man I'd guess next week sometime. Usually at the end of the week around 5pm.

When I applied, the confirmation email I got said that late October is when I would find out about acceptance.

The dates they give out allow a big cushion in case something else comes up. You can usually count on it being much sooner.

Hi guys I just saw this and am waiting to hear back as well. Anticipating letters but I heard we wont hear till end of October but we'll see. I applied for the Dallas location for the online program. Would you mind giving me feedback about stats.

Overall GPA: 3.6

Science GPA: 3.5

HESI: Passed, can't remember the scores
