  1. Hi I'm typing this on my phone so excuse any typos. The classes are pretty much set up for you, they give you a specific course number to register for each semester. You'll do your lectures all together and be split into about 5 groups for your skills and Clinicals. 1st semester looked like this. Keep in mind dates may vary for your cohort. We have lost a few but don't let that discourage you, keep focused! Tuesday open lab 9am-1pm you can go and practice skills on your own Wednesdays 8am- 12 noon Nursing Foundations Lecture Wednesdays 1pm-6pm "Pre-Clinical"(01/16/18-till end of March) this is to prepare you for your first clinical Fridays 1pm-5pm Nursing Skills Lab... here you learn all your skills w manekins such as PPE, sterile field, After "pre-clinical" ends Thursday 7am-7pm Clinical at your assigned facility w your group.
  2. Brandon, that's amazing I*t* takes a lot of selflessness to think about your family first. After all this is why you are doing this to begin with. I'm was placed on the UTA waitlist but Brookhaven ADN accepted me. And after doing all the calculations I'm gonna be spending about $9k+ less at Brookhaven (16 month no break) then I'll do the ADN to BSN bridge at UTA in less time also.
  3. Oh no Brandon, are you going somewhere else??
  4. This school was originally my 2nd choice after UTA, but I was waitlisted for UTA. And today I was accepted into Brookhaven. Honestly, the NCLEX scores and El Centro being on probation really scared the beejeesus out of me. I really want to feel secure and make sure my money and energy for school is worth it.
  5. I am declining my acceptance into Northlake, I'm not sure if they have a waitlist, but hopefully they do. Cheers!
  6. I AM IN!!!!! Congrats everyone who made it! I cannot wait! Shuffman17 made a FB page for our class, send your name to add you!
  7. Annette1988, I'm sorry to hear that, how many points did you apply with?
  8. Has anyone declined their Campus admission? OR has anyone been called off the waitlist for Spring 2018?
  9. My email says Congrats to your acceptance to the Spring 2018 El Centro College Associate Degree Nursing Program at the N-40 campus. I honestly don't remember my points since I applied to 4 different programs: TWU, UTA, El Centro, and Brookhaven. I will have to look. Does yours saying Congrats you are accepted to Spring 18' North Lake program??
  10. I'm in also but what does the N# mean? I doubt it's rhe ranking as I applied with many points and my N# is high. I'm trying to figure out if I'm in El Centro or Northlake lol
  11. I had no idea that El Centro was on academic probation for low NCLEX scores. If I'm paying so much money to prepare for that exam, I expect the school to put in their part. This is scaring me. Failing the NCLEX could cost a lot of money. Does anyone know how many semesters they've been on probation for now?
  12. THANK YOU! You are very helpful :)
  13. Wohooo Congrats to those who got the interview, we are one step closer. And good luck to those who didn't get selected keep your faith up!
