Hi everyone, so i decided to go ahead and open up a forum for the 2018 spring start date. I know it might be early but hey everyone including me will have questions and become quite worried on getting in.

I can't see it taking that long, since the Spring 2017 cohort was notified on September 26 last year. This will be my 3rd time applying and each time they notified everyone weeks before the date they provided. Most of these schools give a later date in case something happens and holds up their process, but they all seem to send notifications much earlier.

If I was to take a guess on what day letters will be sent I would guess either this friday or the following monday because the emails that were sent out regarding "complete" applications said to notify them within 5 business days and after that your ranking will be finalized. And if I am correct the last set of "Complete" emails went out on Friday, sept 22nd so 5 business days would be this friday. Did anyone receive a email saying that your application was complete after Friday Sept. 22?

they also told me that there are 900 applicants this semester so I'm superrrr nervous that if Im waitlisted for online and accepted to on-campus and I decide to deny on-campus, that I won't ever get off the wait list for online because there are so many applicants this matriculation. Does anyone know if they tell you when your waitlisted how far down you are on the waitlist? If not, Im just going to choose the on-campus one and not even take my chances with online.

I just got my complete email today, 9-27. I had emailed my advisor and she told me mid october is when they would hopefully have decisions made and notify us. Who did you get the information from that there were 900 applicants? That seems like almost double the previous semesters.

I have been wait listed twice so far and they will not tell you how many are on the wait list or how far down you are. I'm glad to hear there were only 900 applicants, which is on par with most Spring semesters. For Fall there is always over 1,000 and usually closer to 1200 or so.

I spoke the the Dean of the nursing department. She called me personally because I was having some issues with Hurricane Harvey and had expressed my concerns via email to the BSN department and never heard back so she gave me her direct extension.
