UTA BSN SPRING 2018

Hi everyone, so i decided to go ahead and open up a forum for the 2018 spring start date. I know it might be early but hey everyone including me will have questions and become quite worried on getting in.

I have been wait listed twice so far and they will not tell you how many are on the wait list or how far down you are. I'm glad to hear there were only 900 applicants, which is on par with most Spring semesters. For Fall there is always over 1,000 and usually closer to 1200 or so.

I'm just going by what I have been told by advisors and other accepted students over the past 2 years that I have been doing this.

oh wow, I had read in another forum it was around 500 usually. I had no idea it was that many! If it is that many each time then I can see why it takes so long to notify us. However, literally going crazy everyday waiting for an answer!!

I just received my complete application email today.

are you applying for online or on-campus? if online, what was your location?

is it possible that they are doing it by location so say for instance, if the houston applications are processed before dallas, they will send out the houston letters before dallas?

I am applying for online and my location is Houston. I do not know how they are doing it but the waiting is taking years off of my life!!!!

Im asking because I received my email of completion on different days. For online I received the email on 09/21 and for on campus on 09/22.

I just received my complete email today and I am applying online only for dallas. I don't think there is any method to it... maybe alphabetical? my last name starts with S so maybe... I'm not sure.

That makes sense. If so, it may be a few more days before they make it to the end.
