Hi everyone, so i decided to go ahead and open up a forum for the 2018 spring start date. I know it might be early but hey everyone including me will have questions and become quite worried on getting in.
Brandon_Hare,
I'm 110% sure you will get in! I know a couple of people with GPA worst than your who are starting on-campus program this Fall.
I also feel the RV campground option is a great idea! At least you don't have to pay huge rent/hotel cost.
Also, did you choose Dallas for your clinical site for the online program? I'm pretty sure you will be accepted into the online program if you were in Dallas. At least you will only have to drive to Dallas on weekends for your clinical.
I'm excited, has anyone heard anything back after submitted their application? For Spring 2018?
I doubt anyone has heard anything yet. I'm waitlisted and they haven't sent me an official denied email yet. I don't think they send out the next semesters notifications until they send all of the denied notices for the previous semester.

I sent an email to the advisors, trying to get my degree plan updated, but she said that they are not done selecting everyone for fall 2017. So...keep hope alive, Brandon!! I'm also still waiting.

JADN & Brandon, Fall 2017 doesn't close until July 18th (the day before orientation. You can be called off the waitlist until then, which is why they cannot update the Degree Plan evaluations yet. Though, they have received lists of those who have successfully completed Spring coursework, and those who did not. (I know because my advisor already knew I had passed all my requirements when she called to ask if I wanted a spot)
Received an email stating that I won't be considered an "active" student in Spring 2018 since I'm not taking any courses in 2017. The email said I have 5 days to correct with admission or my application will be denied. I've taken over 40 hours of my pre-requisites at UTA and have been denied twice already. Now they are making me re-apply so I can be active. Seriously? I had to fill everything out again and pay the $60 application fee even though they have all my information on file. Some of the rules & regulations of these schools just blow my mind.
Ok...rant over.

Houston only has like 20 spots a semester... So... it's really competitive regardless of the amount of applicants.
