So I'm trying to see anyone is going to apply for UTA's AP BSN program the fall of 2017. I have been following threads and trying to get some information about how this program is set up. I did my application to the school last year for the Fall of this year. I'm trying to knock out my science classes, but I have withdrawal from my biology class 4 times and Im wanting to take my chemistry over the summer. Possibly doing my other 2 sciences with UTA. I haven't taken the Hesi A2, I plan to take that around the Fall. So, I just like us to update with each other and encourage each other to get into the program. I would do my stats, but I haven't taken gotten them yet. As soon as Im finished, I will post them. Everyone is free to post theirs
I'm guessing it's my GPA. I was under the impression that I received considerations for having ask my sciences dive at UTA and taking over 30 hours at UTA.
My advisor told me not to worry about my c in a and p 1 cause I'd be doing all my sciences there as well as have over 30 hours there!
I'm hoping you get called in the next week, I can't imagine dealing with this junk as much as you have!!
I only applied to the AO program and got an acceptance e-mail today! My stats are
Science GPA 3.75
Prereq GPA 3.65
Considerations, 3 science at UTA, over 30 hours at UTA and partnered with HCA
One of the nurses on my floor graduated form the program in May 2016, he told me he was wait listed and cleared in less than 2 weeks. Another nurse on my floor told me she was wait listed and cleared in about 4 weeks, but she had already accepted another program.
April 5 is the acceptance deadline, so I would expect them to accept more people after that.
Congratulations to those that got in and good luck to those on the wait list.
