UTA AP BSN program Fall 17

Published

So I'm trying to see anyone is going to apply for UTA's AP BSN program the fall of 2017. I have been following threads and trying to get some information about how this program is set up. I did my application to the school last year for the Fall of this year. I'm trying to knock out my science classes, but I have withdrawal from my biology class 4 times and Im wanting to take my chemistry over the summer. Possibly doing my other 2 sciences with UTA. I haven't taken the Hesi A2, I plan to take that around the Fall. So, I just like us to update with each other and encourage each other to get into the program. I would do my stats, but I haven't taken gotten them yet. As soon as Im finished, I will post them. Everyone is free to post theirs

So you applied as partnered as well. With HCA? or a different hospital system?

I am kind of confused. I work for Utsw and I don't know if they are partners. Baylor is my other choice as partner. But I would rather do my clinical at THR Rockwall.

I would think everyone would hear soon. My academic partnership advisor told me that email I received last week was in fact an acceptance. That email from the college of nursing and health innovations said I should look for an official message in my mav within 5-10 business days after a final transfer evaluation was made.

I was applying to the online BSN with clinicals in the Houston area- so my application may be on a different timeline that most that applied for Dallas area.

I hope you're right and you were accepted, but I have my doubts. All past cohorts were notified at the same time, so it seems strange that they would pick and choose individually.

I was told falsely by an advisor that I was in, only to be told by another advisor that she was sadly mistaken! I don't think this was due to any nefarious reasons or anything.

I hope I'm not mistaken. All my email traffic has come from UTA college of nursing and health innovations, office of enrollment and student services

What exactly is listed as your major on your unofficial transcript?

Emails just went out

Did you get accepted? If so would you choose UTA over TWU?

Emails just went out

For the 2nd time I've been wait listed at UTA, so I hold out little to no hope.

I got into Campus based. That was the only one I applied for. So excited that I feel like to cry.

I was waitlisted, and I'm turning down the offer. TWU has a higher NCLEX pass rate and clinicals in the med center.

I just got the email! Got into the online and on-campus program.
