Hi,

I have also applied for Summer 2010 and was glad to find you! UT has everything they need from me, now it is just the waiting game! Has anyone heard if they take the NET science score into consideration for admission and if so, how important is it? I was satisfied with my math and reading scores, but disappointed in science. I should have brushed up on A&P. Thanks!

I am pretty sure that they only look at the math and reading scores. You may want to call to find out. :) Good Luck!

Well they have all my stuff! Just have the 2 classes that I am in now to finish so they will have those on the transcript. I am hoping for the best but dont think my GPA is good enough so we will see. Good luck to all of you :)

Hello everyone. I had to post this today. The first time I took the NET exam my scores were terrible. I took it again today and made a 100 in math and an 85 in reading. I am estatic. My only concern is that my GPA is low. My nursing pre-req gpa is 3.4 :sniff: and my science gpa is a 4.0. Could others post their NET scores and gpa's so that we can all get an idea of what the application pool looks like? Thanks.

Great job on your test! I am taking mine in the morning. I hope I studied enough for it. I haven't taken it before so I am a little nervous. Do we find out our scores right after taking the test? I will let you know how I do. My nursing prerequisite GPA is a 3.78 and my science GPA is a 3.0 Wish it was better!....I will let you know my NET score when I find out. Also, I am a Licenced Paramedic.

I took the NET exam on the computer through Pearson Vue. I got a print out of the results right after I finished the exam. If you are taking the paper version it will take about a week. Good luck to you and thanks for posting you GPA's. You have good leverage because of your medical background. I also have medical experience. I transport patients throughout the hospital.

Hi everyone. I have sent everything to UTHSC for my file to be complete, but when I log onto UTLINK it says that my file is incomplete. The only document it is showing that has not been received is the TSI Test. However it says, "TSI Test/Exempt Group". I called UT a couple of weeks ago about this test and the lady on the phone just said that my transcripts needed to be reviewed before she could tell me anything. Although, I belive they had already been reviewed since my GPA's had already been calculated. From what I read, I had thought that because I have a BS degree I was exempt from taking the TST Test. Does anyone else's file say incomplete for this same reason? I just want to make sure I am not missing something. Thanks in advance!!!

LPSjones, mine is the same way. I called last week and the woman I spoke to said that once all transcripts are in then it should change...I am still waiting on these 2 classes from this system to be put in. I said "so i dont have to take some test or anything" and she said i didnt..so i hope that is the correct info because Tues is the deadline!!! Wow

Bach09, are you currently taking classes right now that you need for nursing prereqs? That would make sense for your file to be incomplete. I am confused because all of my transcripts have been submitted for over a month, and I have all prereqs done. I guess I will find out in the am. Thanks!
