  1. The link did work. Thanks!! :))
  2. Hi Bach09... I was accepted to the generic program too! I can't wait! I found out on Thursday, but I am just now getting around to posting it on here. It is such a relief. I am just thankful that I got accepted to a program. I am so excited! Do you know if a facebook group has been started for the generic program? Looking forward to meeting you!
  3. TWH3, Congrats to you on getting in! What day in Feb did you interview? I interviewed on the 11th and still haven't found out anything. I am a nervous wreck!
  4. I interviewed in Feb....has anyone else found out anything that interviewed in Feb too? Thanks!
  5. Would those of you who have been accepted mind posting the date you had your interview? I wonder if this might play a part in when we find out. Congratulations and thanks! :)
  6. HumbleBeginnings, I interview on the 10th also! See you there! :)))
  7. Well, good news...After talking to one of the nursing admissions admin today I found out that they had not even reviewed my application because their records showed that I had only completed 17 out of the 60 hrs prereqs, when in reality I had completed all of them. She said that it wasn't to late to correct the problem if indeed it was a mistake on their part. When she called me back after the initial phone call, she said that they found it was a mistake and that this is was why I had not received a letter. She did say though that I would be receiving a letter in the mail. I am so glad that I called because if I didn't call I would have been overlooked due to an error. So if any of you are unsure of why you haven't received a letter for the interview call and find out why. I am not sure when my interview will be, but only assuming it will be next week or the week after. I am very excited!
  8. Hi everyone!!! Congratulations to those of you who have had interviews or upcoming interviews! I called the school morning and left a message with the nursing admin. I am on pins and needles. I still have not received an interview letter yet. Does anyone know how they choose applicants for the interview? I just pray they are still sending out letters. I am concerned also because on UT Link it still says my application is incomplete. The only thing that is missing is the TSI Exam scores. When I called prior to the application deadline they said not to worry about it, but it makes me wonder if that is why I haven't received a letter. Did anyone who received a letter have this same problem? I am also worried about my science gpa. My stats are: Nursing prereq gpa: 3.764 Science gpa: 3.0 Undergrad gpa: 3.583 Net Reading: 77 Net Math: 94 I just hope they call me back and I can find out if they are still sending letters.
  9. Thank you! GOOD LUCK to you guys too!!!! :)))))
  10. ooopss...I accidently submitted the message while I was typing...my nursing prereq GPA is a 3.76, and my science GPA is a 3.0. I hold a BS degree in Interdisciplinary Studies, I am also a Licenced Paramedic. I hope that my GPA is good enough to get in.
  11. Thank you so much for sharing! Your GPA is awesome! My overall is a 3.62, nursing prereq I have already ordered the Evolve book, so I guess I am on the right track. How were the science sections on the test? Did the study guide help you review good enough for those sections? Also, was the vocabulary section difficult? I am a middle school math teacher so I feel pretty confident that I will do well with the math. Just worried about the other sections. Thanks for you help!
  12. Hi everyone, I am in the process of applying for TWU nursing program for the fall 2010. Just curious if anyone would mind sharing their GPA's, HESI A2 scores, etc. I have not taken the HESI yet. Does anyone have any recommendations on how to study for it? I have been out of school now for 5 years so I am a little nervous. I took the NET a couple of weeks ago. Is it similar to the NET? Thanks in advance for your help! Congratulations and good luck!
  13. Yolansmith, just wanted to let u know I took the NET and have received my scores. I got a 93 on the math portion and a 73 on the reading. I am very upset about my reading score! I hope this won't keep me from getting in!
  14. Bach09, are you currently taking classes right now that you need for nursing prereqs? That would make sense for your file to be incomplete. I am confused because all of my transcripts have been submitted for over a month, and I have all prereqs done. I guess I will find out in the am. Thanks!
  15. Thank you, that makes me feel a little better. I think I am going to call tomorrow and ask again. I will let you know if she tells me anything different. Thanks again! Good Luck!!! :)
