hi there, I'm a spring 2010 UT houston hopefull, I'm trying to see who else is embarking on this journey so we can support each other. I really enjoyed tracking the Fall 2009 class, and I hope we can do the same. I still have a few classes to take. I am currently taking chemistry. As of now my science GPA is 3.33, and overall gpa is 3.61. I am taking the net in May.
Can't wait to hear from others.
I have also been a lurker, reading everyone's posts. Now I just need to vent about the waiting. I have never hated the month of October this much before, it's passing by soooo slow. I did look at previous semesters blogs and it seems like people's status would change on UT Link a week or 2 from when they actually received a letter. So hopefully we will know before Nov. 15. Keeping my fingers crossed and good luck to everyone!
I know! I keep checking utlink daily, even though I logically know it will not change until sometime after the last interview!
i've actually not checked UT link once since my interview...amazing i know...but school has gotten me really busy....of which i'm thankful! haha! :)
i'm determined to not check until the last week of october (if any of you see anything on your UT link sooner than that please post!) so i'll only go crazy for a couple weeks
hey everyone! good luck on getting in, it really is a great program! i'm part of the december 2010 class and time has just flown by! if anyone wants any insider tips on how to exceed let me know! rest up in december and be ready to read at least 500 pages in texts book a weekend so that you are not drowning in homework during the week. For our class they had a bootcamp the week before class started, I highly recommend this if you guys are given the opportunity. They basically use this as a way to start classes a week early. Also, it may help you out a lot to start some of your reading for the first exams before school starts so that you will not be completely overwhelmed. This program is very challenging and nothing like your prerequisites. You may also want to buy a Saunder's NCLEX review question book to help you get used to nursing style questions. It is very hard and time consuming but it is worth it! It is possible to make A's, all you have to do is study! Good luck!

Does anyone know when UT Houston is suppose to have their orientation for the Spring 2010 class? I'm trying to plan my winter holiday with hopes of attending the orientation.
