Hello Everyone!!
It is finally my time to post to this forum! EXCITING!!! I did not see a thread for Fall 2020 and I might be SUUUUPER early but man that nursing application process takes proper a year doesn't it?
I am done with all my general courses and TEAS except for nursing chem, one elective (health and human disease), Patho, Pharm, and Intro to Nursing. I plan to take CHEM 1451 and HEED 4312 in the Fall 19 semester, apply in January, and then while waiting on that, take Patho and Intro to Nursing in Spring 2020 and Pharm by itself in Summer 2020.
I have an A in Micro, A&P 1, and A&P 2. This has been a LOOOONG journey and I cannot wait to start!

It will be in Microsoft Teams beginning at 9 AM on July 22nd. Attaching a screen shot of the previous email. You are in the AO-BSN, correct? I know there are other dates for the orientation. You might search for this email in your MyMav email, and/or verify your date with the program administrator just to be sure!

I believe you can get your scrubs anywhere. The bookstore sells nursing student patches that need to be sewn on the left shoulder of your scrub tops and jackets/lab coats.

Yeah you can your scrubs where ever you would like and a scrub jacket. On the dress code module on the AOBSN course, they said it had to be navy blue with a patch. I bought 2 nice pairs of scrubs off of Amazon for a decent price. Just be sure to measure yourself before ordering because some of the stores charge a restocking fee if you return your order. Allheart.com is another decent place to get scrubs online.

In the online bookstore, search for “Nursing Patch.” The product # is MMS018231107/0. They’re $2.50 each.

good deal. thank you! so we need 1 patch on left arm, and on the jacket as well (why the hell would we need jackets in Dallas????) I wear shorts even in the "Winter" and a long sleeved shirt...ughhh.
But actually it doesn't say we need jacket...it just says we can wear jackets..
