Hello Everyone!!
It is finally my time to post to this forum! EXCITING!!! I did not see a thread for Fall 2020 and I might be SUUUUPER early but man that nursing application process takes proper a year doesn't it?
I am done with all my general courses and TEAS except for nursing chem, one elective (health and human disease), Patho, Pharm, and Intro to Nursing. I plan to take CHEM 1451 and HEED 4312 in the Fall 19 semester, apply in January, and then while waiting on that, take Patho and Intro to Nursing in Spring 2020 and Pharm by itself in Summer 2020.
I have an A in Micro, A&P 1, and A&P 2. This has been a LOOOONG journey and I cannot wait to start!

Don’t call. Go on the site. If you have a major life change(covid-19 etc) you might qualify. I have been on it for three years and I pay nothing for it.

I have it now and very sad that I might lose it if I don't register this year
I have Obama care, I don’t pay anything for it, and it’s a blue cross bronze plan. Pretty good. I pay 20 a month for dental.

OMG. how did you get it? can you share the details, please? Is it healthcare.gov? I believe it depends on the income so you qualify for the premium tax.

Yes. My credit got increased thanks to covid. I got furloughed. But even before I was only paying 50 a month.

I entered healthgov.com, but due to the income, they told me on the website that I'm not qualified for the premium tax, so the prices were horrible for me. I got furlough too, but what I noticed that if your income less than 12000 doesn't qualify you for savings, unfourantley I don't qualify for Medicaid

which plan is this?
Note if your income between 12760 and 4 times higher you may qualify for the premium tax and you will save a lot
I just paid 1163 for the Fall semester health insurance. I was told it was about 1890 and change for the Spring and Summer semester, which comes out to roughly 3053 for the one year. It's the same overall price as the annual insurance which is 3053 As long as we have insurance during the duration of the program we are clinically compliant. I dont think it should matter if we purchase the health insurance each semester or annually as long as we have health insurance through out the duration of the program. I choose to go ahead and enroll for the Fall UTA insurance since annual was not an option at the moment due to technical difficulties on BCBS end.
