University of Texas at Arlington Fall 2020 Cohort

Published

Hello Everyone!!

It is finally my time to post to this forum! EXCITING!!! I did not see a thread for Fall 2020 and I might be SUUUUPER early but man that nursing application process takes proper a year doesn't it?

I am done with all my general courses and TEAS except for nursing chem, one elective (health and human disease), Patho, Pharm, and Intro to Nursing. I plan to take CHEM 1451 and HEED 4312 in the Fall 19 semester, apply in January, and then while waiting on that, take Patho and Intro to Nursing in Spring 2020 and Pharm by itself in Summer 2020.

I have an A in Micro, A&P 1, and A&P 2. This has been a LOOOONG journey and I cannot wait to start!

Anybody know what is the due date for the TB test results to be uploded? Somewhere I read June 1st but I cant find it now.....

Yeah it’s June 1st I believe it’s under the “inplace compliance” module on canvas

says you can do 1 T-Spot blood test, instead of 2 tests 3 weeks apart and I assume labcorp is doing exactly T-spot

Yeah I did one blood test throught labcorp. UTA will put in a order at labcorp for you but you have to request it through the immunization office.

labcorp does the blood test?

What I know that when you get accepted, you have 5 days to submit all the vaccinations

I will email the advisors. I never actually heard this or read it anywhere. Unless it is a new regulation.

It’s not a new regulation. It was stated several times, also it is in the module they send you on canvas. Here is a screen capture. You probably don’t have enough time to do the two skin tests so I would go and do the blood test ASAP.

Thank you for letting me know, to who should we send it? Thank god I have the blood test ready. but I will confirm to them if I need to redo it again.

You post it on the inplace thing

I can't find this orientation on Canvas! I opened the To-Do list but it shows me the courses only! if it is online can you provide me with a web address, please?
