Hello Everyone!!
It is finally my time to post to this forum! EXCITING!!! I did not see a thread for Fall 2020 and I might be SUUUUPER early but man that nursing application process takes proper a year doesn't it?
I am done with all my general courses and TEAS except for nursing chem, one elective (health and human disease), Patho, Pharm, and Intro to Nursing. I plan to take CHEM 1451 and HEED 4312 in the Fall 19 semester, apply in January, and then while waiting on that, take Patho and Intro to Nursing in Spring 2020 and Pharm by itself in Summer 2020.
I have an A in Micro, A&P 1, and A&P 2. This has been a LOOOONG journey and I cannot wait to start!

I liked watching her recorded lectures even though it was just her reading through the RRDs. I took notes while I listened and then during the week before the test I rewatched the lecture vids on 1.5x speed and followed along on the RRDs.
This is great advice. I pretty much did the same thing.
Oh good grief. I am in Patho RN. So I could go and get a job as a janitor and essentially be partnered, which I would quit the second I got in...and be ahead of almost everyone. Now I’m in the fourth spot instead of the second because I don’t think my patho will count and my pharm will be too late. I have a previous bachelors which is the only hope I have of even getting in. Well, there is always TWU. Except it’s a longer program.

Reality check here. You need to have both patho and pharm done before you start the nursing program. You can apply before they are done, but they still have to be done before you start the program. Being partnered does not put you in a separate pool. You just get additional consideration over someone that might not be partnered. TWU is a fine program, but harder to get into, and they also use TEAS scores in their ranking process, which UTA doesn’t. TWUs program is on campus two years. Uta has both online and on campus. Online is harder to get into as their are many more people applying for online, and it’s shorter. On campus is easier to get in, and it’s two years. Hope this helps.
I have applied for Spring 2021. I realize I need both of those classes so I am taking Patho now and Pharm in the fall. I’m not worried about my TEAS at all because I got a 95.3%. I have an A in everything except College Algebra and my score will be between 8.4 and 8.5. I have seen people who are partnered with a 6.9 get in, while unpartnered people with straight As and an 8.0 get waitlisted. So it is disheartening to see another consideration I won’t have.

All good. I’m in for fall. Not partnered and on campus. I was at 7.71

Sorry, I just don’t know if that’s what they mean by 1-3 weeks apart, cuz I read somewhere on here 3 weeks ?
If you take the blood test through UTA at a lap corp, its cheap and it only took me 3 days for the results.

Study the notes and the videos. That's what I focused on and was able to get an A.
