It is finally my time to post to this forum! EXCITING!!! I did not see a thread for Fall 2020 and I might be SUUUUPER early but man that nursing application process takes proper a year doesn't it?
I am done with all my general courses and TEAS except for nursing chem, one elective (health and human disease), Patho, Pharm, and Intro to Nursing. I plan to take CHEM 1451 and HEED 4312 in the Fall 19 semester, apply in January, and then while waiting on that, take Patho and Intro to Nursing in Spring 2020 and Pharm by itself in Summer 2020.
I have an A in Micro, A&P 1, and A&P 2. This has been a LOOOONG journey and I cannot wait to start!
I don't have health insurance and we're required to upload insurance compliance for it on June 1st, but it's not letting me apply because open enrollment starts on June 1st for fall semester (but I'm taking pharm right now for the Summer semester). How do we apply for the UTA health insurance? I went online to do it but the instructions keep leading me in circles and I'm not sure how to enroll. It also says on the website (https://myahpcare.com/wp-content/uploads/2020-2021-AB-TX-UT-System-PHF-Final.pdf) that "All Health Institutions and medical students are automatically enrolled in the Student Health Insurance Plan at registration unless proof of comparable coverage is furnished." Since I didn't provide proof of insurance does that mean I'm already enrolled in it? I know this is a dumb question, sorry I'm just confused if anyone could please help me out
@Fil We have to wait til June 1st to apply for the fall semester. We are not enrolled in a health institution (such as UTHSC) so we are not automatically enrolled. Wait until June 1st then a link should be active on the insurance webpage.
edit: Insurance is actually due June 30, not June 1, in InPlace as well.
Hey! After I submit my application can I ever see it again? I got an email confirming it but there is nothing for me to see. I have heard so many horror stories about not getting in due to some lame reason. Thanks!
Does anyone know if there is a “graduation date” for the AO 23 posted anywhere? I need something that has an official grad date, or anticipated grad date for an application I’m filling out, and it’s kind of urgent. I asked advising earlier this week, but they haven’t gotten back to me yet. I know they’re prob super busy right now.
