University of Texas at Arlington Fall 2020 Cohort

Published

Hello Everyone!!

It is finally my time to post to this forum! EXCITING!!! I did not see a thread for Fall 2020 and I might be SUUUUPER early but man that nursing application process takes proper a year doesn't it?

I am done with all my general courses and TEAS except for nursing chem, one elective (health and human disease), Patho, Pharm, and Intro to Nursing. I plan to take CHEM 1451 and HEED 4312 in the Fall 19 semester, apply in January, and then while waiting on that, take Patho and Intro to Nursing in Spring 2020 and Pharm by itself in Summer 2020.

I have an A in Micro, A&P 1, and A&P 2. This has been a LOOOONG journey and I cannot wait to start!

Hep A two shots. Hep B three shots and a titer after the third confirming immunity

I keep on saying what UTA health center does, not what your clinics do, guys..Hep B - 2 shots and a titer, NO 3 shots.that s my record as of 4 th when I did the titer

I did two shots for Heplisav-B for Hep B 4 weeks apart. I did the titer a month after the series and it came out positive for immunity. On the UTA vaccinations video the heplisav-B is mentioned as an option for Hep B vaccination. Traditionally the Hep B vaccination was a series of 3 vaccinations but Heplisav brought it down to two. It's a much faster option for Hep B.

Is anybody already trying to upload vaccinations? I just got the subscription on inplace.

I did the same for Hep-B... the Heplisav 2-shot series, 28 days apart, with titer 30+ days after the 2nd shot.

I am in a wait listed, very disappointed, Hope to get acceptance letter in a few days. ?

Is there anyone know that are there chances to get in for wait listed? Anyways, congratulation to those who get in for Fall 2020, AO BSN program. You guys are very lucky.

Do we switch from online to in campus BSN Program after received wait-listed e-mail or not? Please respond me, I need help for this.

I think you need to contact the advisor. I switched before last week. Not sure if you can switch after. I’m sure there’s a waiting list for campus as well.

Thank you so much. Do you get accepted in campus based program and how many considerations you have?

Yes I was accepted. I have 30 hours at UTA, 12 science hours at UTA, and am ex military.

That's good. Good luck.
