Hi everyone! I haven't seen a forum for USF FALL 2021 BSN yet, so I decided to make one so everyone can ask questions, encourage one another, and share stats!

I'm applying with:

Science GPA: 4.0

Overall: 3.91

Volunteer w/ letter of confirmation: 100+ hours

I'm not sure if they look into this, but:

- Bilingual

Has anyone heard anything back yet? I know last year they heard back on 4/9..

I haven’t heard anything. It’s crazy because when I was waiting to hear back for the Spring we heard like a week early.

Ahh..! I feel so anxious for this school. I admire that they do not only look at grades, and rather the entire application. I hope we all hear back real soon!

Same! I only applied here for fall. I’m also trying not to get my hopes up or anything and looking at backup options in case nursing doesn’t work out. We will all be fine no matter what decision we receive ?

(MODERATOR EDIT OF NAME) (the counselor who seems to deal with most nursing applicants) told me a month or so ago that they should start sending out decisions "early April or so".  I only applied to one other school (COM) and they aren't sending out decisions until LATE April!   So both schools are taking a looooooong time to let us know.

I just got an email from M.M. saying that decisions will go out on April 5th!

I'm honestly not sure if knowing the date makes me feel better, but I'm glad they're transparent about it at least!

Haha tell me about it. Time was already going by pretty slow, but now that I got a date in mind, it’s just going to seem even slower LOL. ? but I’m glad he replied! ? I feel like the more time passes, the more I overthink and get anxious and all into my head, so I’m trying not to think about it. ?

I feel excited, yet anxious. It's crazy to think that we get to know it 1.5 weeks!

Hi everyone. My name is Brian and I also applied as a nursing transfer. 

My transfer GPA is 3.76 but I don’t have a science GPA yet since I just started taking anatomy, philosophy and gen psych this semester at a community college. I’m on track for all A’s but do you think that will ruin my chances of getting in since I don’t have a science GPA yet? I plan on taking physio and microbio this Summer. I have no volunteer hours but I indicated that I am bilingual. I think my essay is pretty good and I submitted one recommendation letter.

I’m constantly checking my portal, anxious about the results. Good luck everyone.
