Hi everyone! I haven't seen a forum for USF FALL 2021 BSN yet, so I decided to make one so everyone can ask questions, encourage one another, and share stats!
I'm applying with:
Science GPA: 4.0
Overall: 3.91
Volunteer w/ letter of confirmation: 100+ hours
I'm not sure if they look into this, but:
- Bilingual
Good luck everyone! Feel free to comment below!

I am just wondering what did you guys wrote for your essay? How did you make it impactful? I finished my essay but I don't know if it is impactful enough.
I wrote about how I discovered my passion for nursing and incorporated many other things. However, I believe you should overall just focus on why this path is for you and what you desire to contribute to this field. Good luck! Have some people look at it and give you opinions on it. ?

Ahhh. I remember when I came across this dilemma writing my essay. I talked to my sister and vented about my fear and anxiety about it. She told me that there is no way to guess what a "good essay" is to someone at USF. I really took that to heart and wrote about my essay from personal experience. I also included what I wanted to do with my essay (I wanted to become a professor).

Thanks guys! I'm just really bad at expressing myself with words and not being too personal enough? Even though I have good intentions.

No. If I remember correctly, their site says you can have no more than five outstanding classes. If you get accepted, you will just have to take theology through them, I believe. I decided on applying to this school last minute, so I ended up enrolling in philosophy, ethics, and literature this semester haha ?
Just now, vikky said:Yes, good luck to everybody waiting! ? Today is actually the worst day for me to be off work LOL I’ve been having a hard time keeping myself busy and distracted ? hopefully we find out soon ?
I wish I was off work :c I'll be in the middle of my shift at 5:30, but I know that whatever decision that I receive, it is not an indication of what I am worth as a person. Stay strong you guys! Even if we get an unfavorable decision today, we can always try again ❤️

I didn’t send any proof because the assistant director at the Sacramento campus (where I applied) told me it wasn’t necessary. But usually, schools will take a confirmation letter from whoever is in charge of keeping track of your hours! It definitely doesn’t hurt to send proof though. I believe you should be able to submit them on your portal once you apply.
I honestly think they just really want to see your heart and true intentions and if they think you embody the values that they’re looking for in a student. Being raw and honest about your passion for helping others sounds like the way to go.
