Anyone applying to the University of Miami ABSN program for next summer 2012?
If any one lives in Florida or will be in FL and still needs to get their physical and immunizations,
I went to an affordable place today that I wanted to let everyone know about.
It's called Doctors365, 1368 N. University Drive, Plantation, Florida 33322
My physical was $30, varicella titer was $27 and the Tb test was $12. They also had affordable vaccines.
The people are nice there too, they are mostly PA students so that's why everything is priced so low.
I recommend going early (they open at 8am), bring all your immunization records and print out the forms for UM, and don't forget that for the Tb (PPD) test you need to be seen twice, you get the results on the second visit.
I found the books for NUR 314 "Health Assessment" by going to the UM bookstore website, the other classes haven't posted their books to the bookstore webpage yet. Also, the Professor for NUR 315 "Pathophysiology" posted the course syllabus on to the Blackboard website and the recommended texts are listed on the syllabus. I don't know about the books for the other classes yet.
