University of Miami accelerated BSN 2012

Anyone applying to the University of Miami ABSN program for next summer 2012?

Hi,

I new to this but I also applied to the May 2012 and last week they told thru email that I would get a decision in the next three weeks and I have to take the lab for chemistry my spring semester.

I hope its quick, but I submitted mines like 2-2 1/2 weeks ago and was asking question via email and they told me I should get a decision in three weeks. When I saw that to myself I how if the deadline is not until December 1. I don't know how long it will be but I guess its based on when you completed it and if there are others who applied the same time around.

yeah. I applied to Nova southeastern university, Emory University, and University of Rochester. Is University of Miami the only one you applied too?

I've been accepted as well. Ive found out for a while not but just now posting. I was accepted to 4 out of the 5 schools I applied to. One of the best schools I was accepted to was NYU. Im torn now because I dont know if I want to go to NYU or UM. Sigh..................

But anyway ive sent my background check, fingerprint, and drug testing in. I did my cpr training last week. Does anyone know when they will start letting us know what books to purchase.

Im currently finishing up my APII, microbiology, and nutrition course.

I'm sooooo excited to start this program in January!!! Quick question I am unable to find the facebook group..can someone steer me in the right direction?

For those of you with questions about where to live, I hired an agent to compile a list of places for me in my price range and with the amenities I want. I've been living in Brickell/downtown for the last 3 years and I love it. Definitely a 20/30 something crowd of young professionals and grad students. Its a 15 minute drive to UM and a very cool area. The Grove and the Gables are more family and undergrad oriented but its important to me to live very close to campus which is why I'm moving. If anyone wants to know some building recs in Brickell feel free to message me.
